Badgers are the largest wild carnivore in Scotland. They are nocturnal animals who don’t emerge from their sett until sunset. They can sleep for a few days in winter if the weather is cold and snowy.

Community Field
We have been working hard to develop our community growing field. Our polycrub is established, our container was delivered and we have a few more things to do before we welcome you at the open day on the 23rd August from 2pm.
Volunteer in the Park
We have regular volunteer sessions which meet each Tuesday morning in the park – at 10am – for a couple of hours volunteering. You are welcome to join us. Please look on facebook as the location for the meet may change depending on the area we are working in.
We also have regular meetings each month in the library at the Couper Institute. These are usually at 6.30 on the first Wednesday of each month. All are welcome to join us.
